CHOR-SINGING WITH VALERIA
For this weekend, we will come together as a choir—as diverse and unique as the people singing in it.
Under the motto “make it your own,” we will create a new song—drawing from your personal favorites. After all, the meaning a song holds can vary greatly from person to person. Over the course of the weekend, we will explore different perspectives on music and cultivate a shared musical sense of what it means to let music speak for us. Through a mash-up, we will bring together different genres and lyrics—but above all, emotions and stories.
Singing in a choir means uniting with many others to create a rich, unified sound while still retaining the unique timbre of your own voice. It mirrors the experience of coming together in a community that thrives on diversity.
