MAKE MUSIC WITH PHILIPP
Making music together on the spur of the moment, with no prior experience? Yes, it’s possible! In this workshop, I’d like to explore various creative ways of tapping into your own musicality with you. When we jam, complex compositions sometimes emerge as if by magic, and sometimes we even end up with a song.
This workshop is suitable for all levels of experience. Beginners and seasoned musicians alike will find new ideas for their musical practice here. We will work with bucket drums as well as traditional band instruments to blend rhythm, harmony and melody into a unified whole.

PHILIPP ELSNER
Philipp, who holds a degree in cultural studies, has been working in cultural education for over 15 years. Facilitating musical interaction in all its forms is the central theme of his work, which is why he places particular emphasis on pulse and rhythm as the heartbeat of music. Philipp has developed various musical youth programmes, ranging from musicals and band camps to successful participatory concerts. Over several years, he helped establish the MachMusik programme at the SPI Foundation in Potsdam.
